I Be Black Girl was born from a brunch in 2017, and the theme of connection continues to be our foundation today. This year, we have installed event chairs, Makayla & Kenny McMorris, who are community pillars within Omaha to help spread economic power at the KiKi.
Whether it’s through event support, advocacy efforts, or championing I Be Black Girl, every action you take as a volunteer contributes to building a world where Black women, femmes and girls can live wholly.
